Recognition and Awards
ISM-Cleveland, Inc. honors its founding fathers with the
S. Holmes Mansfield Award. In the fall of 1914, a small group of energetic purchasing agents spearheaded by S. Holmes Mansfield and H.J. Richards assembled in downtown Cleveland to formulate plans for the organization of a "Purchasing Agents Association of Cleveland." Our resulting organization has emerged as one of the best and most progressive local associations in the nation.
In honor of Mr. Mansfield, ISM-Cleveland, Inc. began this annual award in 1964 to recognize an individual who has achieved significant professional excellence and served the ISM-Cleveland, Inc. with distinction. This award is given to honor members for their outstanding contributions to the growth and welfare of their community, our Association and to the purchasing profession
